The Ascension of Cedric

This is a paintings I did for *Starchasm depicting her Dark Heresy character Inquisitor Cedric Mulinasi.

After over a year of playing him through one hell into another in thankless mind shattering soul twisting service of the Imperial Inquisition of the 41st milinuim, Cedric had gone from a terribly frightened yet fresh-faced acolyte to a complete nut-job into a rather frighting and driven sociopathic Inquisitor in service to the Golden Throne. Though he had subjected his soul to a heretical alchemical compound guarded by the ascetic order of the Death-Dreamers of Riesha that seared years of coruption from it, the taint of his former associations and masters still cling to everything he dose and his many peers within the Holy Ordos watch his every step with suspicious eyes.
