In her "room", the irreverent Radey Ayte studies up on some more arcane subject matters while her servant tries to help in his usual fashion.

Merry late Christmas, *Starchasm

This is a character, Radey Ayte, created by *Starchasm. Hopefully now she'll stop bugging me about finally painting Radey ;)

There will be more descriptions and a better title coming very soon... right now, I gotta do some dishes. I just wanted to upload this since I finally remembered my password

Neet face in the book she is holding

very Harry potter gone bad!

hehe... she did mention that Radey's school outfit was, to a degree, inspiered by Harry Potter. So, Radey at hogworts is trully Harry Potter gone bad

The face on the book comes from The Evil Dead and has since become sort of a standard look for the necronomicon.

As always ... Top stuff fella.

What's the thing with scarves?

Thanks. And as for the scarves, a lot of the characters that come accross my desk have them worked into thier outfits, so that's why they appear a lot. I just like exagerating them and having them flow around in impossible ways to help add interest and direct the eye

I first need to decide which character would fit your style, you are a master at painting crazy characters or describing pain, psychic or physic.
If you want, you can check my site ([link]) and see if something inspires you.

Take you time... and you have some intriguing characters! Your name sake of course leapt out at me, but I can see some definite possibilities with Jack, toxic fairy, and several others as well. In the end though, I would suggest you chose the character(s) that interest you the most (why have art made of a character you don't care much for?)... I certain I can do some really interesting work with all of the characters in your roster. :)

hehe, I'm glad you like it so much Scarf... I had to have Radey giving the proper finger since you wussed out on your version ;p

But when I'm finished? Okay, I know I scanned it on a scanner I'm not familiar with and proofed it on a lcd screen (it's really unnerving when the color and saturation is determined by the angle you look at it, I don't know if it's right or not :paranoid:) but I thought it was done. Is there something that looks like it could use some more work?

one niggling complaint and on Radeys face the left side of her face has no hard line to define it so the hair that is likely poofing out from the back of her head actually looks like she has green side burns or mutton chops .

And while I

What I like most about your work is all the details you put in, like the look of puzzlement on the ghost or the inclusion of the Necromicon.

Klatuu Barada Necktie!

Hwehe, thanks. The ghost was actualy one of the main reasons why I wanted to do this piece this way. Once the idea for having Radey's fluffy (they really are a dense bread of ghost) in with her and trying to read, well, I knew I just had to do it. :D

I had several more titles, but they just weren't quite as good and eventualy got worked out. I was originaly going to make the necronomican some other oddly named book, but once I sobered up, I realized what I came up with was quite lame. I'm glad you like those little details though!

thanks and the funny thing is, I was using the piece you did of her as a reference for her school outfit as I couldn't find any screenshots of the outfit on her computer (though I didn't dig too deep... I'd feel kind of weird poking through someones computer beyond their screenshots folder)
