This would be a gift from *Scarfgirl to her good friend Suichiro featuring his character Massacre Melanie.

The information i received about this pyromantic pixie painted her in a very conflicting light. At once, she was remorseless and filled with hate and everything else that made me, for the first time in many years, think of Burn by NIN. At the same time, I was given music to help set the mood for her which was more emotionally depressing and introspective, dealing with loss and regret far more then anger and hate.

I attempted to work this conflict in character into the piece while keeping things fairly simple. After all, i had been wanting to paint Melanie for some time based strictly on her look and, to a degree, I still wanted to focus on that without too much else getting in the way.
